CHILDREN
Our Children’s Ministry program here at First Baptist Church Mustang is known as 928 Kids. Our name not only reflects our physical location at 928 N. Mustang Road, but also reflects our desire to lift up the name of the Lord (Psalm 92:8). Our goal is to walk alongside parents in leading children into a deeper understanding of the amazing love that God has for them. We want to assist families in teaching their child the truth of God’s Word.

Our goal is through weekly, Bible-centered teaching and activities, special events, activities, camps, and annual events such as VBS that children will have continuous exposure to the gospel message. We are passionate about helping to teach a generation to grow up loving God with all of their hearts.
Safety & Security​
We run background checks on all volunteers and have a secure child check-in procedure in order to gain access to our Preschool & Children Building.
Sunday School
Family worship is a high priority at First Baptist Mustang. Our elementary students attend Worship Service with their families so that you as parents, can model worship. This allows parents the opportunity to train and teach their children what they have heard and learned in worship.
Sunday School registration is now open! Students can attend Sunday School at either at 9 or 10:30am.
AWANA
AWANA is a gospel focused evangelistic program designed to disciple kids in understanding the truth of God's Word. It uses a Bible-centered curriculum that helps guide kids to build a firm foundation for their faith through memorizing Scripture and applying Biblical truth to their daily lives.
AWANA clubs are for children 3 years old - 5th grade, divided into Cubbies (3-5 yr olds); Sparks (k-2nd grade); and T & T (3rd-5th grade). Children get to experience a great evening of fun through game time, counsel time, handbook time and a monthly mission emphasis with adults who love the Lord and love children!
Our AWANA club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm, following the Mustang Public School calendar.
Kid's Summit
This is a monthly club meeting on the first Friday of each month of the school year for students in the 4th and 5th grade. It is a club designed for the serious student who wants to go above the bar in growing deep in their relationship with Christ. It requires commitment to an in-depth Bible study curriculum. Each month at our meeting we spend time discussing the material we have done privately at home. We spend some awesome time in prayer. This club provides service and leadership opportunities. Each member is required to attend each monthly meeting to be a part.

When do we meet?
Sunday School & Worship are offered at both 9 & 10:30. Students may attend either hour of Sunday School and then Worship with their parents.
Cross Timbers
Kids Kamp – Each summer our church attends Cross Timbers, located in Davis, Oklahoma. It is a camp for students who have completed 3rd grade – 5th grade. Cross Timbers provides mission emphasis with great hands-on learning activities to enhance learning experiences. It is a fun four days and three nights of Bible study, worship, games, swimming, ropes course, sports, target games, and many more fun activities.
