Preschool

All preschoolers (newborn – pre k) attend both hours of Sunday School. They will experience a variety of learning activites as they learn precious Bible stories

AWANA is a Bible based club with games and rewards for children to have a joyful learning experience. It uses Bible centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith, hide God’s Word in their heart and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives.

AWANA Club for preschoolers is divided into two different age clubs:

Puggles is for preschoolers who are 2 years old by Sept.1. Parents must be involved in Wednesday night activities at FBC for 2 yr. olds to attend.

Cubbies is for preschoolers who are 3 years old by Sept. 1.Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our AWANA club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm, following the Mustang Public School Calendar.

Our 2011-2012 AWANA Year begins with come and go registration in our church gym on Wednesday, August 31st.

Our children’s choirs are fun, energetic and creative times designed to teach children about our great God and some of the many ways we can worship Him through music!

TAPP stands for “Teaching All Preschoolers to Praise” and is designed especially for our preschoolers ages 4 and 5 who have not yet gone to Kindergarten (must be 4 yrs old by September 1).  TAPP will perform on an occasional basis for parents and members of the congregation.

Each of our STOMP and TAPP choirs are led by wonderful teachers and helpers here in our church that arepassionate about teaching children about worship. Your children will absolutely love all the stories, singing, movement, & games that they will experience each week.

TAPP meets from 4:45-5:45 each Sunday afternoon throughout the school year.

Kingdom Klub is a fun time provided for children newborn-5th grade. These Klub events occur during parents monthly Sunday School fellowships and any church event where childcare needs to be provided such as Ladies Bible Study.

Many age appropriate activities are provided for our preschoolers and children during Kingdom Klub activities.

Mustang Mom’s Group offers support and encouragement to local mothers as they experience the joys and trials of raising young children.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month to from 9:30am-11:30am at First Baptist Mustang to listen to a speaker, make a craft, eat, and chat with friends while the kids are in a special children’s program.

We also meet the 4th Wednesday of each month for a group activity with our children.
